Hi, I’m Kathryn!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, currently living in Dallas. When I’m not listening to a podcast in Japanese or reading a book in Spanish, I’m making plans for my next budget trip.
One of my favorite ways to prepare for the year ahead, or for a return to reading after a slump, is to go through my reading list and pick out the books I'm most excited to read.
In 2024 I started learning Japanese by consuming comprehensible input, no textbooks or classes, coming in knowing nothing.
I spent a week in Greece in May 2025, crisscrossing the Athens metroplex and Naxos. While all the restaurants I stopped at were pretty good, some of them had an extra-special something that set them apart from the crowd.
This 2025, I’m here to share with you the caramel-dipped fruits of my labor, i.e. over a dozen awesome fall activity ideas for families – or 21+ singles – to put to the test this season.Â
